About Us

Oruka Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ORKA) is developing novel biologics designed to set a new standard for the treatment of chronic skin diseases. Our mission is to offer patients suffering from conditions like plaque psoriasis the greatest possible freedom from their condition by achieving high rates of complete disease clearance with dosing as infrequently as once or twice per year.

We are advancing a proprietary portfolio of potentially best-in-class antibodies engineered to target the core mechanisms underlying plaque psoriasis and other dermatologic and inflammatory diseases. As we build our core team, we are seeking top talent who are not just looking for a job, but an opportunity to be part of something bigger. We value individuals who are passionate about making a difference and eager to contribute to establishing an engaged, inclusive, and positive company culture.

About the Role

As an Associate Director, Nonclinical Pharmacology, you will be a key member of our Nonclinical team, driving the design and oversight of nonclinical pharmacology experiments and related assays. This role serves as a vital bridge between preclinical discovery and clinical development, engaging in translational research efforts to support clinical studies and influence the development of drugs through model-informed drug development (MIDD).

You will act as a company-wide immunology subject matter expert, partnering with key stakeholders including development teams, clinical scientists, and business development leaders. Your day-to-day will involve managing translational research efforts with academic collaborators, influencing the external scientific environment through publications and presentations, and supporting corporate initiatives requiring deep immunology expertise. This is an opportunity to shape the future of our company and make a real impact every day by helping bring new medicines to patients in a vibrant startup culture.

What We Offer

Join us in shaping the future of our company. We offer a chance to be part of a team where your work directly impacts bringing new medicines to patients. We provide a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our supportive and inclusive team environment encourages everyone to bring their authentic selves to work.
