About the Role

As an Associate Buyer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of essential goods to our customers. Your focus will be on attaining and maintaining agreed-upon service levels while adhering to budgeted inventory targets. You will serve as a bridge between our customers and vendors, engaging directly with both to optimize product flow and resolve challenges.

In this on-site role located in Pearl City, HI, you will contribute to the team's success by procuring products from branded and non-branded vendors. You will actively monitor market trends to manage inventory levels, negotiate to address concerns regarding close-coded or expired items, and partner with the merchandising team to introduce new items and meet gross profit targets. Your work ensures that seasonal volumes, storm recoveries, and service level goals are met effectively.

We are looking for candidates who bring strong statistical understanding, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to our team. If you have 0-2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain and possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), we encourage you to apply.
