The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL) and the Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic Investigation (PDI) in the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Michigan State University (MSU) invite applications for a position in endocrinology designed to enhance service, research, and education in clinical and diagnostic areas. The VDL is a premier, full-service, fully accredited veterinary diagnostic laboratory and a member of key federal networks charged with protecting animal and public health. On average, the Laboratory performs over one million tests per year, serving the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) as well as clients in all 50 states and more than 25 foreign countries.
The Endocrinology Section is world-renowned for gold standard tests for endocrine disorders in animals, receiving the most submissions and offering assays to assess thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, reproductive, pancreatic, pituitary, and gastric function in multiple species. The VDL, CVM, and MSU offer an excellent environment for professional growth in endocrinology, as well as leadership training and opportunities for advancement.
