Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you will step into a pivotal leadership position designed to drive store performance and foster team growth. You will partner closely with the Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that the store runs efficiently while delivering the high standard of customer service ALDI is known for. This role is about more than just supervision; it is about developing your team, identifying training opportunities, and creating a culture of teamwork and membership among employees.

Your day will involve balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will help develop and implement action plans to improve operating results, monitor the competitive environment, and provide product feedback to leadership. From managing schedules and payroll to ensuring inventory accuracy and store cleanliness, you will be the operational backbone of the store. You will also play a key role in the hiring process, interviewing new personnel, and ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Note: Initial training for this position will take place at a nearby location prior to the store's official opening.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will undergo a standard interview process to assess their fit for the team and their ability to lead in a fast-paced retail environment. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in training at a designated location before beginning their duties at the store.
