Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoach and develop staff to exceed individual and store productivity goals
- check_circlePromote excellence in customer service by modeling brand standards and monitoring feedback
- check_circleSupervise floor coverage and activities, including opening and closing the store
- check_circleProvide training and ongoing development of store staff in customer engagement and policies
- check_circleSupport the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational objectives including expense control
- check_circleAssist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates
- check_circlePartner on the implementation of visual merchandising directives and maintain merchandise standards
- check_circleEnsure compliance with loss prevention, safety policies, and company directives
Requirements
- verified3 or more years of store leadership experience in a fast-paced, highly engaging retail environment
- verifiedAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- verifiedProficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs
- verifiedAssociate Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (Preferred)
Nice to Have
Experience leading and developing a team of 20 or more associates. Experience in a specialty retail environment, outdoor apparel industry, or experience with outdoor equipment sales. Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
