Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) and the Department of Dermatology at the University of Utah are seeking a productive, collaborative, and innovative faculty member to join our multidisciplinary team devoted to melanoma. HCI is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center and a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, featuring two dedicated cancer research buildings and a 100-bed cancer specialty hospital.
The Melanoma Disease-Oriented Research Team (MDOT) is one of nine research teams supported by HCI, actively involved in collaborative translational cancer research and clinical trial development. Our ongoing areas of excellence include melanoma genetics, pre-clinical models (GEMMs, PDXs, and zebrafish), mechanisms and biomarkers of drug sensitivity/resistance, chemoprevention, clinical trials, and risk assessment and communication.
