This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate with the drive and passion for providing memorable guest experiences. As an Assistant Pastry Cook, you will be a vital part of our food and beverage team, responsible for creating, preparing, producing, and baking all pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts. Your work will directly support our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
You will work in a dynamic environment where you are expected to perform tasks to the highest standards, from developing new products for a-la-carte and catering menus to maintaining impeccable cleanliness and food sanitation. This role requires a team player who embodies our core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.
Ideal candidates will possess a 2-year pastry background, with prior hotel experience being ideal. Please note that this is a union role with varied shifts (AM/PM). Open availability is required, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays, as shifts are dependent on business levels and seniority scheduling.
