The Assistant General Manager (AGM) serves as a vital pillar of leadership within a Taco Bell unit, providing essential management coverage during operating hours. Working alongside the Restaurant General Manager, the AGM is accountable for the organized, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant. This role is defined by a commitment to maintaining high standards in cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, building maintenance, product quality, and speed of service.
Unlike purely administrative positions, the AGM remains deeply hands-on. You will continuously perform operational work to train employees, respond directly to guest service needs, and role-model the appropriate skills and behaviors expected of the entire team. From managing shifts to ensure fair treatment and legal compliance to conducting daily food safety audits, the AGM ensures the restaurant runs smoothly from opening to closing.
We prioritize internal growth and development. There is a strong preference for internal candidates who have already completed all required learning zone training and certifications. Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude, along with the ability to learn quickly and maintain financial controls.
