About the Role
Sweetspot is seeking a dedicated and compliance-driven Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our beautiful new dispensary in the West Village. In this role, you will help train and mentor cannabis advisors, maintain accurate inventory and operational records, and assist in developing and implementing SOPs in alignment with New York's Office of Cannabis Management rules and regulations. The Assistant Manager will work closely with staff to ensure exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and full regulatory compliance while providing ongoing leadership and support across the dispensary.
You will report directly to the Dispensary Manager and the VP of Retail Operations, managing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with state and local laws and Sweetspot standards. This position provides support to all employees, including scheduling, training, and policy updates, while maintaining the sales floor, managing inventory orders, and ensuring facility compliance and cleanliness.
