The Content Position serves as a strategic partner in elevating the visibility of the UCF Athletics program, with a primary focus on the Men's Basketball brand. You will collaborate closely with the in-house content team, coaching staff, and student-athletes to craft creative strategies that engage students, alumni, fans, and the general public.
In this role, you will provide the creative vision for social media content that is engaging, entertaining, and educational. Your day-to-day involves developing and executing a year-round content calendar, curating assets for distribution across social channels, and capturing high-quality photos and video clips of practices, games, and team events. You will work across Adobe and mobile-based apps to create assets that resonate with recruits, fans, and donors, while utilizing analytics to refine strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
Due to the nature of athletics and event schedules, this position requires flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role also involves the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasional travel. As a staff member of UCF Athletics, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and character, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and strict compliance with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules.
