About the Team

Our team at Airbus Aerosystems Kinston manufactures crucial aircraft components for the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 XWB, including the composite center fuselage and wing spar. On the shop floor, you will be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure, and quality. We sit at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing, specializing in the production of large, advanced composite aerostructures. Join our team and help build the next generation of aircraft.

About the Role

The Assembly Specialist Manufacturing Manager provides technical leadership and oversight for all manufacturing activities within the S15 Assembly Station. This role ensures effective coordination between multiple processes and manages all station tools, jigs, and their maintenance, repair, and calibration. As the designated deputy for the Business Unit Leader, you will step in to lead the Multi-Functional team during their absence. You will serve as a role model for safety, ensuring OSHA rules are observed by every employee, and act as an escalation point for emergencies during second and off-shift hours.

Requirements

Nice to Have

Bachelors' degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-5 years of Leadership experience in Aviation. Experience in a complex, growing, and dynamic environment with a matrixed reporting structure. Proficiency in other languages. Ability to use Microsoft Office, SAP, and MES.
