About the Role
As a Manufacturing Technician on the 2nd shift, you will operate production equipment and construct, maintain, and test mechanical systems and components. This role is designed for entry-level candidates who are eager to learn; we provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to help you succeed. While we prefer candidates with previous experience in production or manufacturing—such as assembly, machine operations, inspection, or calibration—we are dedicated to developing talent from the ground up.
In this position, you will interpret blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. You will utilize measuring and diagnostic tools, including mechanical and optical equipment, computers, and lasers, to test and modify systems. Your responsibilities include performing troubleshooting, calibrations, and modifications of hardware and software, as well as maintaining accurate production records. You will also provide technical solutions to engineering teams, assist in the design of components and prototypes, and may mentor new technicians.
Hiring Process
This is an on-site position located in West Des Moines, IA. We are currently open to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some mandatory and voluntary overtime on Saturdays as required by the business.
