The Arista Wireless SME is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role within a professional IT services organization, serving as the technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture. This position demands deep expertise in Arista's next-generation wireless platforms, specifically designing, deploying, and supporting Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi and CloudVision Cognitive Unified Edge (CV-CUE) solutions.
You will operate as both an architect and a hands-on technical mentor, blending solution design, field deployment leadership, pre-sales technical scoping, and escalation support. The role is critical for guiding delivery teams through complex transitions from legacy Wi-Fi environments to Arista's cloud-native, AI/ML-driven cognitive networking capabilities.
Your work will span the entire lifecycle of wireless engagements. You will design enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking, including multi-radio AP deployments supporting Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, zero-touch onboarding, and high-density coverage models. You will develop high-level and low-level designs that incorporate RF planning, capacity analysis, and Zero Trust security configurations.
Beyond design, you will lead deployment efforts in customer environments, mentoring junior engineers on zero-touch provisioning and the implementation of automated remediation features. You will also engage directly in pre-sales scoping calls to estimate effort for discovery and cutover phases, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues involving spectrum conditions, automation orchestration failures, or cross-domain wired/wireless convergence.
This is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a full-time employee with benefits. Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate hands-on expertise with Arista platforms and their capacity to lead technical teams in real-world scenarios.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
