About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Area Manager serves as the primary point of contact for designated accounts. This role is designed to provide leadership to personnel, ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards, and oversee daily operations to guarantee timely job completion. The position requires a dynamic leader who can manage employees across multiple locations, offering direction, coaching, and training to build morale and loyalty.
You will be responsible for establishing strategic goals by analyzing business, service, and operational trends. A key part of your day involves monitoring performance compliance, managing budgeted hours versus worked hours, and handling staffing, absences, and turnover. You will also serve as the first line of support for employee concerns, managing reporting, follow-ups, investigations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
This is a salaried evening position, scheduled from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation on weekends. The role involves significant travel to accounts in Zeeland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Holland, MI, requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
