About the Team
The Strategy & Advocacy team partners closely with Uber's Policy, Legal, and Operations teams to address major policy and regulatory challenges globally. We are part of the Policy, Research and Economics org, a collective of economists, researchers, and data scientists.
Our mission is to produce research and analysis that informs advocacy, shapes business strategy, and supports leadership decision-making across Uber's markets, regions, and lines of business. We bring clarity to complex issues and help our partners weigh competing interests.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Economics or quantitative field
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of quantitative research or data science experience
- verifiedStrong data skills with SQL, Python, or R
- verifiedProficiency in Python and experience with data at scale

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to explain complex issues and persuade stakeholders using data, research, and policy ideas.
