This position sits within Eastman's technology organization, providing strategic support for our Coatings business. As an Inks Applications Scientist, you will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between R&D, marketing, sales, and our customers. Your mission is to drive innovation, cost optimization, and environmental stewardship by delivering high-performance ink materials that meet rigorous regulatory and market requirements.
In this role, you will lead customer-facing projects to design and optimize ink formulations, including resins, solvents, and additives. You will mentor teams on ink properties and printing processes, influence decision-makers to adopt new sustainable solutions, and monitor industry trends to inform strategic directions. This is a pivotal role for those passionate about advancing sustainable technologies, such as bio-based solutions and recyclable materials, within the global packaging value chain.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to relocate to Kingsport, TN. The position requires a willingness to travel approximately 20% within North America to engage with customers and partners.
