Cargill is committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way. Sitting at the heart of the supply chain, we partner with farmers and customers to source, make, and deliver products that are vital for living. Our 155,000 team members innovate with purpose, providing customers with life’s essentials so businesses can grow, communities prosper, and consumers live well. With over 160 years of experience as a family company, we look ahead while remaining true to our values: we put people first, reach higher, and do the right thing—today and for generations to come.
As an Application Developer, you will build, maintain, integrate, and implement software applications supporting the Supply Chain Planning functional domain. You will be a member of a product team dedicated to the SAP IBP solution across Cargill’s enterprises, discovering and delivering solutions to enable the company’s digital future. Your work will ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and robust by applying knowledge of software configuration and integration. You will also contribute your hands-on experience with modern practices and technologies to the Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) community.
In this role, you will perform with limited supervision, handling moderately complex software application and integration testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support. Your primary focus will be on the SAP IBP solution, working alongside application analysts, product managers, and business partners to ensure integrations and configurations align with standards and project goals. You will maintain an open channel of communication with end users and internal stakeholders, responding to support requests and independently solving moderately complex issues while escalating more complex challenges as needed.
We invite you to apply to join a team that values innovation and purpose. Our process is designed to assess both your technical capabilities and your fit within our collaborative culture.
