About the Role

The Apparel Screen Printing Operator is the hands-on engine of our production floor, responsible for transforming designs into high-quality custom apparel. This role exists to ensure that every garment leaving our facility meets strict standards for color accuracy, registration, and durability. Whether working with automatic presses or manual setups, you will be the expert guiding the process from screen preparation to final curing.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with setting up screens, mixing inks to match specific color palettes, and calibrating machines for the day's production runs. You will load and unload apparel, monitoring the press to maintain consistent quality while managing the drying and curing processes. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to quality control, inspecting garments for defects and making precise adjustments to maintain industry standards. You will also handle routine equipment maintenance and ensure the workspace remains organized and safe, adhering to all guidelines for handling chemicals and machinery.

Who You Are

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in hands-on work and possess a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision matters, and you are comfortable standing for long periods while performing repetitive tasks. While previous screen printing experience is preferred, a strong understanding of color mixing and a commitment to teamwork are the true essentials. You should be capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs and possess the basic computer skills needed for job tracking.

You will work in a dynamic production setting characterized by moderate noise levels and exposure to inks and chemicals. The atmosphere is collaborative, requiring strong communication skills to coordinate with the production team and ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
