CHI Health St. Francis is a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving Central Nebraska. The facility offers a 16-bed open ICU with after-hours eICU support, a well-established hospitalist and intensivist program, and a wide range of engaged subspecialists. The hospital continues to invest in clinical excellence, holding Magnet with Distinction recognition for nursing and recently completing a newly renovated Emergency Department and OR expansion.

About the Role

This is a new, integral position created as we expand our services to meet community demand. You will provide anesthesia services at both CHI Health St. Francis and the Grand Island Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role features a diverse case mix including General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Urology, ENT, and Neuroscience procedures.

You will practice in new Operating Rooms that opened in 2021, featuring advanced technology including a new DaVinci Xi robot. The position includes an academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine. We welcome new graduates and visa candidates to join our team.

The Grand Island location offers an excellent environment for collaborative, high-quality perioperative care. The hospital boasts robust support with strong Hospitalist and Intensivist programs alongside multiple subspecialty physicians. The new ORs provide a state-of-the-art setting for your daily practice.
