You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station, the final stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active environment is designed to receive trucks full of orders and prepare them for the last leg of their journey to customers.
This role is the heartbeat of our delivery network. You will work in a dynamic, physical environment where safety and efficiency go hand in hand. Your day will involve receiving truck deliveries, sorting packages using handheld technology, and preparing orders for drivers. Whether you are building pallets, scanning items, or transporting goods on carts and dollies, you are essential to ensuring packages reach customers on time.
The work is active and varied. You may stand for long periods, walk throughout the facility, and navigate stairs. The environment is climate-controlled but can experience temperature variations depending on the season and time of day. We provide hearing protection and safety gear to ensure you can work comfortably and safely alongside moving equipment like mobile carts and rolling cages.
We are committed to building a supportive team environment ranked among the best in the world. Our culture is inclusive, offering employee support programs and resource groups. We encourage you to make a positive impact through local community engagement initiatives that strengthen the areas where we live and work.
We invest in your future with free training and development programs, plus tuition support for select employee groups. You'll complete on-the-job training during your first few days, with schedules that can match your chosen shift or follow a fixed training plan before transitioning.
We offer a variety of shift options to fit your life, including Early Morning and Overnight hours. You can choose from Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), or Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week). Schedules can be fixed or flexible, and overtime opportunities may arise based on customer demand.
