You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. In this fast-paced, active role, you will receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery by loading conveyor belts and staging deliveries for drivers.
You'll be working in a dynamic environment surrounded by moving machines, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts. The activity level varies; some tasks require standing in one place for long periods, while others involve walking around or climbing stairs.
Temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse, and on hot days, temperatures can exceed 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers. The environment can also get noisy at times, though hearing protection is provided if needed. The dress code is relaxed but prioritizes safety, requiring comfortable, closed-toe shoes. In select business units, protective safety footwear is required. Depending on the role or location, Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code to help you prepare for your first day.
We offer jobs that fit any lifestyle, featuring state-of-the-art workplaces and teams that support and listen to our associates. For select employee groups, you can instantly cash out up to 70% of your earnings immediately after your shift through Anytime Pay.
Our modern warehouses are clean and well-organized. Safety is a top priority; all teams share safety tips daily, and protective gear is available onsite. We foster an inclusive workplace with a variety of DEI programs and affinity groups, working in small or large teams that support each other in a workplace ranked among the best in the world. Depending on the role and location, you'll learn how to use the latest Amazon technology, including handheld devices and robotics.
