Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate

About the Role

You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. In this fast-paced, active role, you will receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery by loading conveyor belts and staging deliveries to be picked up by drivers. You will use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, as well as build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages.

What It's Like at an Amazon Delivery Station

You'll be working in a dynamic environment surrounded by moving machines, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts. The work involves a mix of standing in one place for long periods, walking around, and climbing stairs. Temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F in some parts of the warehouse, and on hot days, temperatures can exceed 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers. The environment can get noisy at times, and hearing protection is provided if needed.

Our relaxed dress code requires comfortable, closed-toe shoes, with protective safety footwear required in select business units. Depending on the role or location, Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code towards the purchase of shoes to ensure you are prepared for your first day on the job.
