About the Role

You will be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station, serving as the final link before packages reach customers. In this fast-paced, active environment, you will receive trucks full of orders and prepare them for the final leg of delivery. Your day involves loading conveyor belts, transporting items, and staging deliveries for drivers to pick up, ensuring smiles are delivered to our customers.

The Work Environment

Working at an Amazon Delivery Station means operating around moving machinery, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts. The environment is active, requiring you to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift. Temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F inside the warehouse, and may exceed 90°F in truck yards or trailers on hot days. The area can be noisy at times, and hearing protection is provided if needed. While the dress code is relaxed, comfortable closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear is mandatory in select business units. Amazon may provide a $110 Zappos gift code to help you prepare for your first day.
