About the Role
We are seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on STC products directly at customer sites. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all post-installation issues regarding security systems and equipment, ensuring application uptime and system performance. The position also involves special project work when needed, requiring you to collaborate individually and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve complex application issues.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRespond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance
- check_circleDiagnose and resolve application issues individually and as a team
- check_circleExecute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability
- check_circleDocument all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system
- check_circlePerform pre-deployment end to end testing of all upgrades and major modifications
- check_circlePerform routine configuration changes including user permissions and application settings
- check_circleProduce quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- check_circlePerform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma required or equivalent
- verifiedFamiliarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- verifiedWorking knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
- verifiedCertifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus
- verifiedIowa Fire License preferred
