As an Airport Wheelchair Agent in Tampa, you will be the vital link ensuring a seamless and dignified experience for passengers requiring assistance. Your day will involve guiding travelers through every stage of their journey, from the curb side to the aircraft door. You will be responsible for pushing wheelchairs, assisting with baggage handling, and physically supporting passengers as they navigate stairs or board the plane.
Beyond the physical tasks, this role is about delivering a professional customer experience. You will gather and return wheelchairs to staging areas and serve as a safety advocate, adhering strictly to company policies and immediately reporting any hazards or incidents. You will work in a dynamic environment that includes rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, often operating in outdoor weather conditions ranging from sunny skies to severe seasonal elements.
