About the Role
As an A&P Technician, you will be a vital part of our client's operations, repairing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. This role is designed for individuals who thrive with minimal supervision, handling moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic mix of technical and operational duties. You will perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and specifications. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to working with the team on B747 aircraft, conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections, refueling, repositioning aircraft, and repairing systems written up during flight. You will also be responsible for maintaining currency with aircraft manufacturer procedures, filing inspections, and ensuring the continued airworthiness of company aircraft.
In addition to hands-on maintenance, you may be asked to lead other technicians, assign duties to cleaners, and assume supervisor duties when required. Opportunities exist to work with clients who manufacture and assemble aircraft, performing major alterations, refurbishments, and installing optional equipment. You may also accompany company aircraft to overhaul or repair facilities.
