About the Role
The Aircraft Manufacturing Carpenter is a specialized role dedicated to the fabrication, assembly, and repair of wood products essential to aircraft production. This position focuses exclusively on precision woodworking, creating the critical infrastructure that supports manufacturing operations. You will construct tooling, jigs, fixtures, crates, and other wood-based structures required for the transport and protection of aircraft components.
In this role, you will interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to build parts to exact specifications. Your work ensures that all manufacturing supports meet rigorous quality standards and dimensional accuracy. You will coordinate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to support production needs, maintaining a neat workspace while adhering to strict FOD (Foreign Object Debris), safety, and tool-control requirements.
