As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a full-time, security-based role designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these critical positions. Whether operating fixed-wing aircraft or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), you will be part of a dynamic force ensuring the safety of the United States.

Successful candidates will complete a three-part assessment. A duty location will be offered after this assessment, based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
