About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to secure the nation's borders. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a dedicated team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical (or Class 1/Military) dated within 12 months; and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
