About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career focused on aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role involves conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled goods moving via land, air, or sea. You will also monitor suspect behaviors, analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these full-time security-based positions. The role offers the opportunity to work with a mission-driven team where your skills directly impact national security.

To qualify for the Air Interdiction Agent - Elite Pilot Opportunities at U.S. Customs and Border Protection position, applicants should have: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or veteran preference waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible); and 250 Pilot-in-Command hours.
