About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in our aviation-based law enforcement operations. You will work alongside a dedicated team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring suspect behavior, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. This role is designed for seasoned pilots and those with military training who are eager to make a tangible impact on national security.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Maximum age 40 (or 37 without waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible); and 250 Pilot-in-Command hours.
