Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to interdict smuggled contraband
- check_circleMonitor behavior patterns of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels engaged in illegal activities
- check_circlePerform aviation-based law enforcement to detect and prevent terrorist entry or attacks
- check_circleSupport search and rescue and humanitarian efforts during aviation missions
- check_circleCollect, refine, and analyze strategic and tactical intelligence for law enforcement operations
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. Citizen
- verifiedPrimary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years
- verifiedAge 40 or younger (or veterans preference eligible)
- verifiedFAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings
- verifiedFAA Class 2 medical (or Class 1/Military) dated within 12 months
- verified1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible)
- verified250 Pilot-in-Command hours
- verified75 Instrument hours
- verified75 Night hours
- verified100 flight hours in last 12 months
- verified1 year specialized aviation experience as PIC or sole manipulator
