As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your primary mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit operations targeting smuggled contraband moving via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. This position demands rapid decision-making and the ability to coordinate aircraft and ground assets in diverse environments, including night operations, poor weather, and low altitudes.
