Our mission is defined by camaraderie, pride, and a shared purpose to detect, prevent, and interdict terrorists, weapons, and contraband from illegally entering the United States. We offer skilled pilots an opportunity to join a law enforcement career that combines aviation expertise with national security.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking a rewarding career with exceptional stability and the chance to make a tangible impact on border security. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land, air, and sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for full-time security-based opportunities with a streamlined application process. We are particularly interested in seasoned pilots and those with military training who are ready to bring their skills to this high-stakes environment.
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a rigorous three-part assessment to ensure candidates meet the operational demands of the role. Successful completion of this assessment leads to a duty location offer, which may be within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations. Candidates must be willing to work at any duty location within the selected region based on operational and mission requirements.
