Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), brings together an elite team of highly trained professionals. Camaraderie, pride, and a shared sense of purpose are hallmarks of our daily mission to protect America. We offer skilled pilots an opportunity to transition into law enforcement, working within a culture defined by excellence and operational readiness.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your primary mission is the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, weapons, contraband, and individuals attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career that combines the thrill of flight with the stability of federal service.
In this position, you will conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband moving via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. The role demands rapid decision-making and the ability to coordinate aircraft and ground assets in diverse environments, including night operations, poor weather, and low-altitude flight.
AMO utilizes a streamlined application process for full-time security-based opportunities. There are three primary ways to apply:

You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region, including the Southeast (Homestead, FL; Aguadilla, PR), Southwest (AZ, CA, TX), or NASOC UAS locations (AZ, TX).
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
