Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. Our mission is defined by camaraderie, pride, and a shared purpose to detect, prevent, and interdict terrorists, weapons, and contraband from illegally entering or attacking the United States. We offer skilled pilots an opportunity to join a law enforcement career that combines aviation expertise with national security.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots who want to apply their skills in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit missions to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor suspect behavior patterns, analyze strategic and tactical intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This is a full-time, security-based position offering job stability and the chance to work with a team where your expertise is in high demand. Whether operating manned aircraft or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), you will be integral to the agency's mission at locations across the Southeast, Southwest, and Caribbean regions.
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents is streamlined but rigorous. Candidates must successfully complete a three-part assessment to secure a duty location offer.
