About the Role

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role is designed for skilled pilots seeking to apply their expertise in a high-stakes environment where your daily work directly impacts national security. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled goods via land, air, or sea. Beyond interdiction, you will support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts, utilizing strategic intelligence to monitor suspect behaviors and protect the border.

Hiring Process

The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents is rigorous and multi-phased:

2. Assessment: Successful candidates will complete a three-part assessment to determine suitability for the role.
3. Training: Upon selection, you must successfully complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC). Failure to complete this training may result in separation or reassignment.
4. Placement: A duty location will be offered after the assessment. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region (Southeast, Southwest, CAMB, or NASOC UAS locations) based on operational requirements.
