About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a team to conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for full-time security-based opportunities. We are particularly interested in seasoned pilots and those with military training. If you are ready to make a move, this is your chance to join a mission-critical team.
Hiring Process
The application process is streamlined and involves the following steps:
- Application: You may apply via the Air Interdiction Agent applicant checklist (emailing a recruiter), USAJOBS, or Airline Apps.
- Assessment: Successful applicants will complete a three-part assessment.
- Training: Upon selection, you must successfully complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC). Failure to complete this training may result in separation or reassignment.
- Placement: A duty location will be offered after the assessment. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
