Our mission is defined by camaraderie, pride, and a shared purpose to detect, prevent, and interdict terrorists, weapons, and contraband from illegally entering or attacking the United States.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role is designed for skilled pilots seeking to apply their expertise in a high-stakes environment where every flight contributes to national security. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for full-time security-based opportunities. We are particularly seeking seasoned pilots and those with military training to join our ranks. If you are looking for a career with excellent pay, exceptional federal benefits, and job stability, now is the time to make your move.
The application process is streamlined to get qualified candidates into the field quickly. There are three primary ways to apply:
Stay Updated: We highly recommend opting into CBP's talent repository. You will receive monthly emails regarding webinars, career expos, and future opportunities.
Assessment & Placement: Successful candidates will complete a three-part assessment. A duty location will be offered after this process. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, including the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background. As a federal law enforcement agency, we adhere to specific age and citizenship requirements to ensure the safety and integrity of our operations. We welcome veterans and value the diverse skills and perspectives that our team brings to the mission of protecting the nation's borders.
