As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot performing aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career that combines professional flying with federal service. You will partner with ground assets to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Candidates who apply with 750 flight hours must obtain at least 1,000 flight hours at their own expense before attending the assessment. Successful candidates will proceed to a three-part assessment. Upon completion, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region (Southeast, Southwest, CAMB, or NASOC UAS locations).
