As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. Your primary mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role involves conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will also monitor suspect behavior, analyze strategic and tactical intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
