As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot and law enforcement officer, conducting aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a unique career path that blends high-performance aviation with federal law enforcement duties. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit operations against smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. You will monitor suspect behavior, analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Successful candidates will undergo a three-part assessment to determine their suitability for the role. Upon completion of the assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the selected region, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
