As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking a rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will perform air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This position offers a streamlined application process for seasoned pilots and those with military training. You will work within a dynamic environment where your aviation skills directly contribute to the safety and security of the nation's borders.
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment to determine your suitability for the role. Once you successfully complete this assessment, you will be offered a duty location based on operational and mission requirements. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
