Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your aviation expertise with a rewarding career in federal law enforcement. You will work alongside a dedicated team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
We are actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to join our mission. This is a full-time, security-based position offering job stability and the chance to make a tangible impact on national security.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizenship; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or veterans preference eligible); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 1, 2, or Military medical flight clearance (within 12 months); and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
