As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will perform air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This is a full-time, security-based position where you will work alongside a team that values operational excellence. While duty locations are determined by operational and mission requirements, you will be part of a dynamic environment spanning the Southeast and Southwest Border Regions, the Caribbean Air and Marine Branch, and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC). The role demands the ability to evaluate information rapidly and make judicious decisions during in-flight operations across diverse environments, including night, poor weather, and low altitudes.
