Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a unique opportunity to combine your aviation expertise with a career in federal law enforcement, working alongside a team where your skills are in high demand.
You will be part of a dynamic environment where you conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Whether operating fixed-wing aircraft or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), you will be making critical, rapid decisions in diverse environments to uphold national security.

Successful candidates will undergo a three-part assessment. Upon completion, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
