As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting, rewarding career with exceptional stability. You will partner with ground assets to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day involves monitoring suspect behavior patterns, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue or humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these full-time security-based positions. The role offers a streamlined application process and the chance to work in diverse environments, from the Southeast and Southwest borders to the Caribbean and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment. Once you successfully complete this assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, including the Southeast Region (Homestead, FL; Aguadilla, PR), Southwest Region (AZ, CA, TX), or NASOC UAS locations (AZ, TX).
