As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in the detection, prevention, and apprehension of terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This is a full-time, security-based role where you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations.
Your day-to-day mission involves conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspects, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. A duty location will be offered after successfully completing a three-part assessment. The final offer letter may include any geographic location within the Southwest Border Region, Southeast Border Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
