As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot in a security-based role, performing aviation-based law enforcement operations. You will partner with ground assets to conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities, monitoring suspect behavior and analyzing strategic intelligence to support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
The role demands high-level decision-making in diverse environments, including night operations, poor weather, and low altitudes. While duty locations are determined by operational and mission requirements, you will be part of a dynamic team operating across the Southeast and Southwest regions, the Caribbean Air and Marine Branch, and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC). A duty location will be offered following this assessment, and you must be willing to work at any location within the region selected. New hires are also required to successfully complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) as a condition of employment.
