As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career that combines professional flying with federal service. You will perform air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Successful candidates will undergo a three-part assessment to determine their final duty location. Locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements within the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select.
